The Company
Aferetica is a SME founded as a Start Up by Managers with tens of years of experience in Nephrology, Intensive Care and Cardiology. It proposes itself as a catalyst for the creation of a Network able to create, validate and use Apheretic Therapies in several clinical areas: from Intensive Care, Nephrology, Cardiology, Transfusiology, Gastroenterology to Transplant, with a view to introduce innovation activities for organ’s purification.
Set up inside the Biomedical District of Mirandola, Aferetica is a company dedicated to the development, realization and marketing of medical devices, thanks to the pooling of resources of a highly specialized district, rich in knowledges, technologies and production capacities. The most important heritage is represented by the Network of knowledges around us: from Universities to Research Institutions and Hospitals, from Emilia Romagna to Europe.
Most of known medical device innovations and the therapies are inspired by ideas and activities created in collaboration between industries, clinicians, academicians and researchers from all over the world, but first and foremost, from Italy and Europe.
