The goal is the removal of excess fluids without altering intravascular volume, aiming to improve hemodynamic stability.
Therapies and Treatments
In ultrafiltration mode, CARDIOsmart performs minimally invasive treatments of ultrafiltration for congestive heart failure in patients who are refractory to conventional therapies. The equipment allows rapid and efficient removal of fluids from the intravascular space through peripheral access, aiming to improve symptoms and hemodynamic stability of patients.
