Whistleblowing
Aferetica has implemented a process for receiving, analyzing, and handling reports concerning the company, submitted by third parties or by Aferetica personnel.
This process is in compliance with the new regulations introduced by Legislative Decree No. 24 of March 10, 2023, implementing Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and the Council of October 23, 2019, regarding the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law and provisions concerning the protection of persons who report breaches of national regulations (commonly known as the “Whistleblowing Decree”).
The whistleblowing management process is an integral part of Aferetica’s Organizational, Management, and Control Model pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 231/2001.
To submit and manage reports, it is possible to write a letter in a sealed envelope (with the words “Report – Do Not Open” on the envelope) addressed to:
Rag. Maria Raimondi
Via Oreste Vancini, 4
40134 – Bologna
The internal reporting channel is managed by a Company-appointed Manager who, being external to Aferetica, is independent and ensures the confidentiality of the whistleblower’s identity, the person involved, and anyone mentioned in the report, as well as the content of the report itself. No form of retaliation against the whistleblower is allowed following a report.
