For the second consecutive year, Aferetica is among the 2021 Growth Leaders, the ranking carried out by Sole 24 Ore and Statista that brings together the 450 Italian SMEs capable of competing at European level. Statista, along with Sole 24 Ore, judged the companies according to their average annual growth rate over the three years (Cagr).
Born in Mirandola (MO) as a start-up in 2014, Aferetica became an innovative SME in 2019 and is now based in San Giovanni in Persiceto (BO). The knowledge and experience of Aferetica started precisely from what is specific of the Mirandolese territory, and then opened up new frontiers thanks to collaborative research.
Vocation for innovation, collaboration with major global research centres, and international openness are among the assets of Aferetica’s growth and development. This is evidenced, fo instance, by the exclusive partnership with the American company Cytosorbents, one of the leaders in life-saving systems, born in 2015 and active for very serious diseases, such as sepsis and Covid-19, and for areas of intervention such as Transplant.
Aferetica celebrates this little big success with pride and satisfaction, with the hope of continuing to grow by pursuing its mission to develop comprehensive and integrated apheretic therapies dedicated to the life and well-being of the patient.
